On Friday 11th Scouts will take a trip to Awesome Walls, directions are here. Parents should bring Scouts direct to Awesome Walls at the earlier time of 6.30pm on this Friday. Please arrive promptly to maximise your climbing time as we will be limited to 90 minutes which will include safety briefings, adjusting harnesses etc. Collect from same at 8pm.

You need to bring €20 payment for this activity. Your scout needs to wear a necker and bring a resealable bottle of water, as climbing can be physically demanding. Scouts should not wear any rings on their fingers or have loose items in their pockets. Regular trainers are fine for climbing.

Due to safety ratios and staff availability there are only 15 places available for this activity. Participants will be chosen based on First-Come-First-Served response to txt RSVP and also by attendance at previous meetings and events this year. In the case that we cannot accommodate everyone at this event we will schedule another trip with priority going to those who didn't get to go this time.
