Our last meeting of the year will take place this Friday. There will be a short multi-faith and belief ceremony in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Ashbourne at 7pm. The Peace light is a candle lit by a Palestinian and a Jewish Scout and its light is carried all around the world. It will arrive in Ireland on Thursday night and travel to our parish on Friday night. Scouts should wear full uniform and bring a santa hat. Parents and older scouts should bring a candle and a lantern carrier for bringing the light home if you have one. A number of carriers will be available at the church in exchange for a small donation.

Following the ceremony at 7.30pm we will move to the Parish Hall for some Christmas refreshments and party food. We aim to finish by 8.15pm.

Beavers: Meet in the Parish Hall at 6.30pm and head across to the church at 7pm.

Scouts: Meet at the church at 6.50pm where we will be briefed on the order of events. Scouts should bring some party food for themselves and some to share.
